Upload one fillable PDF template and a CSV or Excel spreadsheet of data. This tool reads the template's form fields and the spreadsheet's column headers, suggests a field mapping automatically, and lets you confirm or adjust it and preview a filled row before generating anything. Generating writes one filled PDF per data row (or a single combined PDF), plus a batch summary log. It does not run OCR, does not support legacy XFA forms, and does not place signature images - see the FAQs below.

Frequently asked questions

What data source formats are supported?

CSV and modern Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheets. The first row must be column headers. Legacy .xls files are not supported.

Can this place a signature image automatically?

Not in this version. A spreadsheet cell can't hold an embedded image the way this tool reads data, so signature fields are left untouched - they're never filled or removed, even when the output is flattened.

Does this support older XFA forms?

No. Only genuine fillable AcroForm fields are read, the same as every other form tool in this app. A form with no AcroForm fields (including an XFA-only form) is reported as having nothing to fill.

What happens to a row with a value too long for a field, or a dropdown value the template doesn't recognize?

By default, an overly long value is truncated to the field's limit and an unrecognized dropdown value is left blank - both are noted in that row's line of the batch summary log. Truncation can be turned off in Settings, in which case that one field is left blank instead.
